Mask are strongly recommended when inside the boat (there is limited outdoor space available on the boat). We support masking outdoors also, and any precautions that help you feel safe. Rapid tests will be available to participants throughout the weekend.
FAQ: Can I come, even if I don’t know how to swim? Answer: Yes! You do not need to know how to swim to attend camp. Swim lessons will be provided, and lifeguards will be on duty. However, you must know your limits! If you choose to swim outside the hours lifeguards are on duty, or if you leave the cove and swim elsewhere, you are swimming at your own risk and we are not responsible for you.
FAQ: If I can’t make the boat, can I come later that day or the next day? Answer: We highly recommend doing whatever you can to make the boat with everyone. If you simply aren’t able to, and you still REALLY want to come, you are welcome to book your own boat ride, and gear haul, and meet us at the campsite. We have no capacity to help you coordinate your own trip over. We cannot provide any discounts to your registration and will have to buy any additional boat ride and gear haul. Info on public boat ferry here. Additionally you will miss the orientation, introductions and icebreakers, and first activities. We will not have capacity to catch you up and provide you with an orientation or introductions. Folks who join late generally find it hard to mix with the group once they arrive. Similarly, if you have to leave early, you will have to coordinate that on your own. Please let us know in your registration if you plan to come late or leave early.
FAQ: I was able to register, but tickets sold out before my friends could. Answer: Sorry! Have your friends join the waitlist. We cannot guarantee that they will get a spot, but we often get very last minute cancellations. See the cancellation policy above if you’d like to cancel your registration.
